Robin Soderling 6-3/7-5 Andy Roddick Highlights

Robin Soderling won the 2011 ATP Brisbane title this Sunday. The Swede defeated US No. 1, Andy Roddick for the first title of this season. Soderling, moved up to the 4th ATP spot, just ahead of Andy Murray and won the 4th seed in the Australian Open draw, due to his performance in Brisbane.

The ATP Brisbane Final was a straight sets event. Soderling dominated both with his serve and forehand, having mostly no problem in remaining on serve. Roddick’s single weapon was his serve. The American remained exposed once his serve failed as he had big problems in winning rally points. Andy will have to improve his game before the Aussie Open if he wants to reach the later stages.

Robin Soderling won the Brisbane Final 6-3, 7-5 and is now heading with confidence towards the first Grand Slam event of the season. Can the Swede hope for his first hard court Grand Slam Final? We’ll have to wait and see! Until then check the highlights of the Brisbane Final, in the above embedded video.
