Rafael Nadal qualifies for the ATP Exxon Mobile Open Final

nadal defeats troickiRafa Nadal reaches the Qatar Open final after a straight sets win against Serbian, Viktor Troicki. The Spaniard has important changes of colliding with arch rival Roger Feder in the Doha final.

Nadal won 6-1\6-3 against the 23-year-old, Troicki. Rafa reinforces a solid start of the season. He won his first tournament last week in Abu Dhabi and now is set to win his first official competition of the season.

Rafa clinched the first set easily and managed and impressive series of 11 games in a row to lead 5-0 in the 2nd set. Troicki won his serve and broke Rafa to serve for 5-3, which he eventually did. Nadal completed the game without problems to win 6-3 and in straight sets.

The Exxon Mobile Open is the last warm-up event for the Australian Open. The first Grand Slam event of the season starts Monday, January 18, and will be covered by TennisFlash.com
