Juan Martin Del Potro vs Novak Djokovic (To resume from 3-6/6-3)

One of the most exciting matches scheduled so far at Roland Garros 2011 is the clash between the player of the moment, Novak Djokovic and Argentine sensation, Juan Martin Del Potro. The match was scheduled for yesterday evening at the Philippe Chatrier. However, due to the extended Wawrinka vs Tsonga encounter, the organizers moved it to the Suzanne Lenglen court.

Novak Djokovic won the first set 6-3, while Del Potro leveled the balance in the second act of the match. The clash had to be stopped due to the lack of natural light and will be resumed this afternoon! The winner of this encounter will have an open draw until the SemiFinals, where Roger Federer will be most probably waiting!

Novak Djokovic is undefeated in 2011 and counts 41 wins in a row. However, Juan Martin Del Potro is getting back to his best shape that helped him win the US Open 2009. He seems ready to administrate Djokovic’s first defeat of the season. This is certainly a match worth watching!
