Rafael Nadal has lost his chance of completing the ‘Rafa’ Slam after losing to fellow Spaniard, David Ferrer in the 2011 Australian Open QuarterFinals. Rafa suffered from a left thigh strain, right from the start of the match. He refused to give up and played the match in agony. Robin Soderling won the 2011 ATP Brisbane title this Sunday. The Swede defeated US No. 1, Andy Roddick for the first title of this season. Roger Federer has a perfect start of season 2011. The Swiss Master won last weekend’s 2011 Qatar Open. He defeated Russian, Nikolay Davydenko in what turned out to be a straight sets final, 6-3\6-4.
